MY STORY

Born and raised in Ventura County, my passion for the DJ craft sparked in a very interesting way, when I was 15 while working at a toy drive.  The people running the event had a DJ centered in the back of the outdoor workspace, dropping jam after jam (or at least it felt that way to me) that kept everybody upbeat.  The whole idea of it seemed pretty cool so I ended up talking to the DJ man and received a job as an assistant.  I downloaded Virtual DJ on my brick of a laptop and spent a good deal of time in my room and on my family's dining room table studying the program and learning how to blend songs I bought from iTunes. After about 6 months of this and working for the DJ from the event, I got equipment of my own and started putting my name out there to get some gigs for myself.  As I grew in the craft and in my love for music, my speakers began to fill themselves with artists such as Adventure Club, Major Lazer, and Avicii. Given this window into this whole new world of music, my love gravitated toward the orbit of EDM (or electronic dance music). This music taste I have grown and expanded upon but still hold dear to this day.  As the years have gone by I have been lucky enough to develop my love for music and continue to work in the industry of a craft I have enjoyed for a good deal of my life. Since I first began when I was a teenager, it has always been something I have loved to do for myself in my room when nobody is around, and that has happened to translate over for me into slowly but surely integrating shows, weddings, dances, and other public events into my work. That's likely why you'll usually catch me dancing behind the booth as much as the people on the dance floor.
